About Us
TKF is an established company involved in the training, assessment and development of nationally accredited awards. We have a wealth of skills and experience gained from working with a cross section of UK and international companies from blue chip to individuals (see Supporting Organisations page).
Our purpose built training centre is located within Holme Styes Wood, a 136-hectare commercial woodland situated 1.5 miles south of the popular market town of Holmfirth. Courses can and have been delivered on sites throughout the UK, Europe and the Russian Federation.
TKF is a fully accredited National Proficiency Tests Council (NPTC) Assessment Centre and is also a registered Training Provider for Lantra-Awards (Sector Skills Council for Environmental and Land Based Sector) and is a member of the Lantra Training Providers Club. We are able to deliver the full range of Technical and competency based awards.
TKF also works with companies to design tailor-made awards to assess skills which are specific to their own organisations and where no suitable national award exists. For example in 2003 we developed the Re-pollarding (CS 46) awards for the Environment Agency.
