DIRECTIONS TO HOLME STYES WOOD

Directions from Manchester M67

At the end of the motorway follow the A628 for Sheffield.  Continue on the A628 through Tintwistle and Crowden. Go past the sign for Holmfirth and take the next left towards Dunford Bridge.   

Travel through Dunford Bridge and take the first left towards Holmfirth.  Winscar Reservoir will be on your left.

At the first junction turn left.  Holme Styes Wood is situated 0.4 miles on the right.  Go through the gates down the track until you reach the training centre.

Directions from M1 Southbound

From junction 36 southbound follow the signs for the A616 Manchester and Huddersfield.  Travel through Langsett and at the next roundabout go straight across following the signs for Huddersfield and Holmfirth. The Flouch Pub should be on your right. Still on the A616 go under the bridge until you come to the crossroads at Hazlehead.  Turn left on to the B6106 towards Holmfirth.  Take the next left after the Fox House Pub, onto Law Common Road.  At the next junction go straight across. 

Holme Styes Wood is situated 0.4 miles on the right.  Go through the gates and down the track until you reach the training centre.

Directions from M1 Northbound

Leave the motorway at Junction 35a and follow the directions above.

Directions from Glossop B6105

From Glossop take the B6105 until you meet the A628.  Turn right onto the A628 towards Sheffield. Go past the sign for Holmfirth and take the next left towards Dunford Bridge.

Travel through Dunford Bridge and take the first left towards Holmfirth.

Winscar Reservoir will be on your left.

At the first junction turn left.  Holme Styes Wood is situated 0.4 miles on the right.  Go through the gates down the track until you reach the training centre.

Directions from the centre of Holmfirth

Travel up Dunford Road situated between Kaye’s ironmongers and a ‘Your Nuts’ Health Food Shop for 1.6 miles until you reach the Bay Horse Pub on the left. Turn right at pub and travel along this road for one mile.

Turn right at the crossroads just before the Barnsley District sign.

Holme Styes Wood is situated 0.4 miles on the right.  Go through the gates down the track until you reach the training centre.
